A strategic joint venture between experienced nuclear industry participants and First Reserve, the world’s leading private equity firm, specializing in the energy industry. The partnership will acquire and integrate key businesses operating within the commercial nuclear power-generating sector.
In particular, the partnership will focus on acquisition opportunities across the nuclear fuel cycle in three different lines of business: uranium mining and production and related infrastructure operations and services.
Accord Nuclear Resources LP will be advised by Accord Nuclear Resources Management LLP and Accord Nuclear Resources Management (Pty) Ltd. These advisor entities will be led respectively by Charles Scorer, Chief Executive Officer and partner of Accord Nuclear Resources Management LLP, based in London and Leigh Curyer, Head of Corporate Development operating from Adelaide. Together, they have nearly 28 years of experience in the nuclear sector.
